About the Project

Being one of the largest local authorities in the state, the City of Salisbury is experiencing growth and needs to understand its current and future provision of open space including its social, environmental, or economic value to the community.  

One Eighty developed a comprehensive database of all Salisbury’s open space assets, and in conjunction with a leading mapping company, audited and classified all 1450 parcels of land to help council better understand their current and future needs and use of open space.

As an outcome of the project, One Eighty is in the process of developing a pilot ‘Dynamic Open Space Management System’ (DOS MS) and is calling for expressions of interest from councils that would like to get involved with this unique and revolutionary project.  The aim is to provide Councils with an open space strategy at their fingertips and work with our team to develop the tool and system, so If you are interested in hearing more, please reach out to Mark Band at mark@180sls.com.au or call 0408 826 925
